1. Information we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address, name and profile image via our authentication provider (Clerk). We also store your search history, saved locations, collections, trips and contributions to provide the service.
2. How we use your information
Your data is used to personalise your experience (recent searches, saved places), power community features (public collections and profiles) and improve our location discovery quality. We never sell personal data.
3. Third-party services
ReelRoutes uses Clerk (authentication), Neon (database), Upstash (caching), Google Maps and Places (mapping), Google Gemini (AI), TMDB (film metadata), Cloudinary (image hosting), Vercel (hosting and analytics) and Sentry (error monitoring). Each processes data per its own privacy policy.
4. Uploaded content
Screenshots you upload for identification or contributions are processed by AI and may be stored for moderation. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
5. Data retention & deletion
You may delete your account at any time, which removes your personal data, saved items and private content. Public contributions may remain in anonymised form.
